NOTE: Healing process is different for everyone. The above timeline can vary. This is a very shallow tattoo, the skin on the face is a lot thinner than anywhere else on the body. You want to be extra delicate for 2 weeks with your new brows until the skin heals up over the pigment. Then you can go back to your regular skin care routine.
Because this is a superficial tattoo, it is normal to lose a hair stroke, or have a section not take as well. Clients come back in for an initial touch up a minimum of 5 weeks after the initial. Touch ups are completely up to your preference and if you are happy with the results.
Maintenance touch ups are suggested to keep them fresh. The typical touch up is 1.5 years after the initial. This is completely up to the individual. Some come back in a year, others 2+ years. The initial healing phase usually takes about 7-14 days. However, full recovery and color settling may take up to 4-6 weeks. Follow-up appointments with your tattoo artist may be necessary for touch-ups.
